I always see Films advertised either on the TV, on the side of the screen on certain websites, Poster on buses/ phone boxes/ outside the cinema. This is not just specifically apply Romcom films but all films in general
I think the best way to advertise a film like ours (lowbudget/independant) would be to make a poster and put it in various places. Also a good way would be make a trailer and upload it to video websites such as youtube. An easy way to hear about a new film is by word of mouth so if we put and advertisment on social networks such as facebook/ twitter/ myspace then people would hear about it and spread the word as social networks are a great way to hear about new things. Other ways could be to advertise in our sixth forms page of the local newspaper.
Uploading a trailer , using social networks and the local paper are all easy and cheap ways to advertise so i think they would be our best option.
